I actually really like their pizza. I'm not a professional pizza water (my wife may disagree), but we like it. I can't speak to it's "authentic California sourdough" but it's good dough. We like the garlic cheesy bread sticks a lot.

While yes, the pizza may be a bit greasy it is darned good pizza. I usually visit and get the $6.50 lunch special which has 2 slices & a soda. Seating is a challenge when I go around noon, but during the summer they do add tables outside of the small restaurant.

We passed this place a few times on the trax so we figured it would be good to try the "sourdough crust". My wife and I ordered a large pepperoni. It was pretty empty at dinner but it looked like it would be pretty busy during lunch. I love pizza so I did eat my usual 3-4 slices and paid particular attention to the crust and dough. I have to say I wasnt impressed. I wanted some good crust but it just wasnt here. It wasnt bad pizza but you could probably find some better pizza downtown. I wouldnt go back given the option.

Having lived in San Francisco for eight years, I can tell you that a place like this would have lasted all of three days before being out of business. Greasy pizza, salad drenched in dressing, and a nauseating pizza smell all added up for one of the worst meals I've had in recent memory.
